Filipino FlagIt is the national and official Filipino Flag of the Philippines; it contains the colors of red, blue, and white with golden sun in the middle.

-When was the the flag established?
Filipino FlagDepending on the style of the Filipino Flag that you were talking about, there were 2.

It was marked as the 'first' flag of the Philippines, however, the style is currently not in use as in 1898, Emilio Aguinaldo redesigned the flag; with his style of the American flag colors, red, white, and blue with a touch of a sun and 3 stars.

The colors of the Filipino Flag originated from the United States' flag because of the help and assistance received from the United States during the war. The first flag of the Philippines was created and designed by the rebellious group named Katipunan who were rebellious against Spain.

The flag was purely red and had three "K"s going across horizontally across; the "K"s meant for the groups name. The second design of the Filipino Flag is a simple "K" across it. Another newly redesigned style is the third picture of the Katipunan flag which had three "K"s forming a triangle. The fourth style of the flag included a sun with a symbol in the middle while the fifth style had a sun with minor detail upgrades.

The first official and current national flag of the Philippines was established in 1898 with the colors of red, white, and blue as the base. In that year the new and awesome Filipino Flag was thought of by Emilio and is currently used by the Philippines to this date.
